Directions: The N389 is the last main road before the turn off to the village of Aldeia do Cano.Leave the N389 & follow the road to Aldeia do Cano.
After about 1km you will pass through the upper part of the village. There is a re-cycling point on the left & a small bar almost opposite.
Drive past the bar slowly (as the road becomes very narrow) & follow the road as it drops down to the lower part of Aldeia do Cano.
After you have gone past a row of houses on the left, there is a small junction by the Sala de Convivio (village hall) with a dirt track on the right.
Drive straight across the junction & past some more houses on the left.
Look out for the sign that shows the end of Aldeia do Cano. Keep going!
The tarmac road ends at this point so drive slowly for 100m & look out for a large rubbish bin on the right.
Immediately turn left & drive carefully along the bumpy track past a small house on the right. Look out for Rique, our neighbour’s dog.
Drive up the hill for about 100m & at the fork in the track, turn left & continue up the hill.
As you come over the brow of the hill you have arrived!
The Casa Pequena is on the left & the Casa Velha is ahead, further along the track.
