secluded house
We stayed at Antje’s place for a few days with our dogs and really enjoyed it. The house is secluded and peaceful, in the middle of the Alentejo countryside. It was clean, cosy and comfortable, and our dogs really enjoyed the space to play (although note while the garden is enclosed the fence is quite low, so we did have to keep our bigger dog on a lead). The views are beautiful and there are several spaces designed so you can relax and enjoy your surroundings. It is a 10 minute drive to the nearest amenities and a 30 minute drive to the beach and a bigger town. We also stayed at the beginning of July and found it a bit of a challenge keeping the place cool without air conditioning. Overall would recommend for someone who is happy in the countryside and wants to enjoy a slower pace!
